English Folk Verse (c.1870) - The Fifth of November Remember, remember! The fifth of November, The Gunpowder treason and plot; I know of no reason Why the Gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot! I love images of the green man, and also love tales of the green man legend. The National Forest wood fayre is on in Aug and they have a green man story teller there - do you fancy coming along with us?
ReplyDeleteThat sounds brilliant. We are also a fan of the green man. Jethro Tull, or actually Ian Anderson, wrote a really good song about him under the name Jack in the Green.
