Camera Critters #4 - Buzzard
I grabbed this shot one day on our camping trip. The buzzard was a regular visitor to the field and had just delighted me with a close fly over. He hovered over my head for ages and I allowed myself the pleasure of just watching before I decided it was worth a mad dash for my camera and a quick lens change. My big lens takes better shots from the tripod as the small movements of my hand and breathing make for blurred images but I was pleased to be able to get this anyway. Sounds like something Spike Milligan might say.

Told you i was ill.
T-bone
Have you been playing with photoshop?
ReplyDeleteVery nice edge effects. At first I thought it was a photo of a painted silk scarf.
Hey T-Bone! Apparently a long time ago Spike Milligan was getting nasty letters from the bank regarding the state of his account. He wrote to them and said that every month he put all the names of people he owed money to in a hat. He would then take one out and the name he drew out was the person who got paid, and if the bank didn't stop writing him nasty letters he would stop putting their name in the hat!
ReplyDeleteI have to confess I have been playing but the colour is genuine and was taken on 5th November. We lit our chimney....er and toasted the memory of Guy Fawkes.
