No Title

Greetings. It has been a difficult time for many people I know recently; there has been grief and concern for loved ones and friends.

I have found blogging difficult during such a time however I have taken peace in a couple of early morning walks and the world at it's most beautiful.

I wish to share my moments of peace with all of my loved ones and friends. My love and thoughts are ever with them.




And lastly there is new life. Welcome Aran 3rd August 2007. The sun was shining on the day you were born.

    dancin' fool all these pictures seem to reflect the emotional state that you have been in, over the stressful time you have experienced. Then the period when you emerge from that state.
    The first picture, untitled, reminds me of lit candles placed in the ground at dawn, by whoever, to mark an event and you came across them.
    I think someone walks with you to share the beauty.

I grabbed this shot one day on our camping trip. The buzzard was a regular visitor to the field and had just delighted me with a close fly over. He hovered over my head for ages and I allowed myself the pleasure of just watching before I decided it was worth a mad dash for my camera and a quick lens change. My big lens takes better shots from the tripod as the small movements of my hand and breathing make for blurred images but I was pleased to be able to get this anyway. I found out yesterday that Joni over at My Piece of Heaven has closed her blog. She runs a farm with her husband and also works as a medical transcriber. Apparently Joni is increasing her hours at work and she has decided that with the extra work and the farm to run she won't be able to fit blogging in, at least not to the standard that she wishes to. I completely understand but I am sad that I won't be able to visit her blog anymore. Joni posted everyday and displayed amazing photos of the beautiful and varied wildlife in her part of the world, including her new puppy Cooper! I am really happy that things are going well for Joni but I am sorry that I did not get a chance to tell her how much I valued her and her blog before she went. It's a funny thing this virtual socialising, connections are made between people.
