English Folk Verse (c.1870) - The Fifth of November Remember, remember! The fifth of November, The Gunpowder treason and plot; I know of no reason Why the Gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot! weather is strange nowadays. It was not long since Britten was flooded I think. Now it is dry? Maybe those clouds will bring a little.
