Sky Watch 37# Gods of the West Wind

On a recent trip to Bodmin Moor I snapped this shot just before a particularly harsh storm care of the west wind. It brought snow for about an hour. I have looked up Gods of the West Wind to name this post and it would seem that there are a few!

Dagoda, Slavic god, Dajoji, Iroquois god, Favonius, Roman god, Kabun, Algonquin god, Ú-heponolo, Zuni god, Zephyros, Greek god, or maybe it was...

Mari, Basque goddess - Ruler of the Wind. Stribog, Slavic god - Grandfather of the Wind or Hanui-o-Rangi, Polynesian - Father of the Winds.
