Peace of Mind

I have had a trying day work wise and like most days of this ilk have found myself making many mental blog posts, but when the time comes when I can sit down and blog I am exhausted and ready for bed. I did however find some peace of mind in this wonderful song. So I am blogging the end result of the day. Enjoy!

  1. Sorry to hear you have had a day of it.
Life is too short for such trauma.
I will stand beside you and tell all 'them others' that, if you would like.
But for now have a good nights sleep.
And adopt the crash position when dealing with them in future.

  2. Hello! I am afraid as usual some of it turned out to be worrying about nothing but isn't that always the case! Anyway it has been a better day today.

Have you heard this song? It is so beautiful, as with many of his songs they always take me somewhere sunny and peaceful.

Thanks for the Airplane reference, now thought of as 'The driving home with Mum' reference! Happy Days!xxx

  3. Thanks for this relaxing tune on my Friday night after work scene. There's lots of tidying up here before our company arrives tomorrow, but I just can't force myself right now...and my buns are tired from sitting staring at a computer all day (tired? sore!?)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I enjoyed seeing your mom's "driving experience" ;oD That was very sweet of you to do for her. I was reading some old ltrs I'd kept from my mother who has been dead over 17 yrs now, and it was like a wonderful visit with her. I chose then to throw them away. There's still a few around, but it was a big step. 17 yrs is a long time, but holding on to stuff is a problem I've had forever, and so it was good for me. Bye now xo

Wish I could get a piano in your place for you.

  5. Hey Kyle! Glad you enjoyed the song. I have been checking out Imogen and some other bits on You Tube which I am loving so thanks for the recommendations there.

And speaking of Little Feat, as we have been, Texas Twister is playing as I type!

Letters are a wonderful connection to people and can be as a conversation, but I understand the need to let go too.

Have a wonderful weekend honey. xxx
