Click Every Day!
Sometime ago I posted the following regarding the Click Every Day buttons in the side menu of my blog.
You may have noticed 6 new buttons on my blog in the left hand menu that say click every day. If you are unfamiliar with these they are basically a link to another site where if you then click the big button you donate to various charities for free. The deal is that for every click they receive their sponsors donate to each charity. You are therefore just two clicks away from: providing reading tuition and free books for children, providing free health care for children, helping to preserve endangered habitat, helping to provide a free mammogram for someone, providing 6 bowls of food for rescued animals, or giving free food to someone who really needs it.
If you can spare two clicks please pick any buttons of your choice and help these worthwhile charities for free! Thank you!
I have been visiting the site today and clicking on the buttons, as well as registering which additionally donates with no requirements on your part, save a few moments. I wanted to feedback the update they have provided regarding what was achieved last year by both the once a day clicks and sales of the charities products via their online shops. Thanks to this online shopping, and to a great extent the 'click every day' facility, the following was achieved:
The Hunger Site generated 53.6 million cups of food
The Breast Cancer Site gave 7,151 free mammograms
The Child's Health Site helped 657,619 children
The Literacy Site gave 328,072 free books to children
The Rainforest Site saved 10,155 acres of land
and, the Animal Rescue Site gave 42.7 million bowls of food to rescued animals.
An outstanding achievement I thought! Thanks to everyone who has clicked and keep it up!
