Help Wanted
Can anyone recommend a good photography magazine to me that I could get in the UK? Preferably one with good advice about SLR's (digital) and information on photography competitions? Any suggestions welcomed, and thanks in advance.
Camera Critters #4 - Buzzard
I grabbed this shot one day on our camping trip. The buzzard was a regular visitor to the field and had just delighted me with a close fly over. He hovered over my head for ages and I allowed myself the pleasure of just watching before I decided it was worth a mad dash for my camera and a quick lens change. My big lens takes better shots from the tripod as the small movements of my hand and breathing make for blurred images but I was pleased to be able to get this anyway. I'm sure there are lots of photography magazines out there. I can't recommend any from personal use, because I don't have time to read magazines any more (if you want photography books, I can recommend several great ones). However, I know the camera company Nikon has a magazine: Nikon World. I'm sure it's a bit bias toward Nikon products (i.e. you're not likely to read an article about Canon DSLRs in it), but it might have what you're looking for.
