It's another moon shot from me this week, I just cannot resist taking shots of the moon and love to see the detail on its surface. To join Sky Watch or see other participants click here
That is one AMAZING shot of the moon. I've just read which mens you used. My longest is 200mm - the extra 100mm you have there really does make all the difference. I'd love to capture an image of the moon like this - well done, and thanks for sharing it.
I grabbed this shot one day on our camping trip. The buzzard was a regular visitor to the field and had just delighted me with a close fly over. He hovered over my head for ages and I allowed myself the pleasure of just watching before I decided it was worth a mad dash for my camera and a quick lens change. My big lens takes better shots from the tripod as the small movements of my hand and breathing make for blurred images but I was pleased to be able to get this anyway. ReplyDeleteHello All! Thank you for your lovely comments and sorry for my delay in responding.
ReplyDeleteGerg, I use a Canon EOS 400D with a 18-55mm lens as standard and a 90-300mm for this shot. I used my tripod too.
