Camera Critters #4 - Buzzard
I grabbed this shot one day on our camping trip. The buzzard was a regular visitor to the field and had just delighted me with a close fly over. He hovered over my head for ages and I allowed myself the pleasure of just watching before I decided it was worth a mad dash for my camera and a quick lens change. My big lens takes better shots from the tripod as the small movements of my hand and breathing make for blurred images but I was pleased to be able to get this anyway. This looks like a visit Scotland ad. Very very nice - what a big country.
ReplyDeleteLoch Broom, North East Scotland. This is where I wanted to be yesterday but instead I got a brilliant day with Sunpat in the garden, and in the afternoon buzzards flew over, and we played badminton!
ReplyDeleteWe seem to be on a main flight path here and at both ends of the year we get pathfinder squadrons of geese flying over!
Beautiful! Looks very peaceful. :-)
ReplyDeleteHey l^2 (AKA Thermo Woman!) Sorry but it's the first name that came into my head following your post about super human powers! Hope the sun is shining for you!
