I have been getting back into the habit of taking my camera everywhere with me again after a spell of not doing so. The other night I went out at sunset with the dogs and headed for a good vantage point.
These are two of the snaps from my recent trips.
I saw this foal when it was just born in the summer last year. It has grown so much although is still very young and timid. It came over after I took this shot for a nuzzle!

I grabbed this shot one day on our camping trip. The buzzard was a regular visitor to the field and had just delighted me with a close fly over. He hovered over my head for ages and I allowed myself the pleasure of just watching before I decided it was worth a mad dash for my camera and a quick lens change. My big lens takes better shots from the tripod as the small movements of my hand and breathing make for blurred images but I was pleased to be able to get this anyway. That is a very pretty combo with that hairy horse and the sunset.
