I Hate Windows 7!

Ok, at first I thought it was new and logical, but the Microsoft Office that comes with it is a pain in the butt. So actually I guess I don't hate Windows 7, I hate Microsoft Office version whatever!

I have spent some years now learning how to use Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access to some proficiency. Now however, although I know how to use everything I can't find it! New menus, new titles and new symbols are making my working life hell as it takes me twice as long to do everything. And don't get me stared on CAD 2011!

Ok, I am done!

  1. I feel for you.
I felt that way about vista.
    Still do some times.

I still enjoy computers and the wonderful links they have to everything, especially people who I want to be in contact with.
Hope it all settles down soon.

  2. I dread when I have to get another computer, which won't be too much longer at the rate my old one is going. But I work with Word. Doesn't your computer come with Word? I don't want to have to learn another bunch of stuff.

  4. Hey Jerry! It is a drag having to upgrade. Neither PC's I have bought came with Microsoft Office that has Word so I got the updated version. It's not cheap either!

The Office package always seems to be an extra. My advice, try and stick with the version of Office that you have when you get a new PC.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Office 2007 is pants agreed! It takes ages to get used to and now they have updated it further with Office 2010 I think. I get awfully confused as I use Office 2003 at work and 2007 at home, so I swear at the computer a lot too! x

  6. Hi Claire! The place I use to work there was a chap who sat near me used to swear at his PC like a trooper! It always made me smile and made my little outbursts seem tame!

He also used to wear his Ipod (as many staff did) and continue to swear so I used to send him little emails warning him to swear in his head if there were any clients sitting round the corner out of site in reception!

Don't have that problem working at home but I do miss his outbursts!
