English Folk Verse (c.1870) - The Fifth of November Remember, remember! The fifth of November, The Gunpowder treason and plot; I know of no reason Why the Gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot! DArk and gloomy sky. It reminded me that this is Friday. The last day of the working week for lots of people. I liked it when I was earning a living working for somebody else and it was "Payday."
