Click Every Day
Some time ago I came across the Greater Good Network. I'll let them tell you a bit more:
About GreaterGood.org
GreaterGood.org is an independent charitable organization devoted to addressing the health and well-being of people (particularly women and children), animals, and the planet. GreaterGood.org distributes funds generated through the GreaterGood Network of websites to the many charitable organizations responsible for implementing programs named on these sites.
100% of the funds generated through the GreaterGood Network pass through GreaterGood.org to our partner charities. GreaterGood.org has ultimate authority and discretion with regard to the distribution of its funds. All expenditures made are consistent with the exempt purposes of GreaterGood.org.

The Greater Good Network provides books, health care, food and shelter for people and animals in need around the world.
The buttons displayed on my side bar, that say Click Every Day, link to the website where you will find a button saying 'Click here' for each partner charity. Just one click on this button helps to provide these valuable resources for people and animals who really need it.
There is no obligation you simply go to the website and click the button, the page registers your click and you are free to move on!
You are therefore just one click away (or two clicks if you go via my blog!) from providing free books, medical treatment, food and free mammograms for those in need and can also help to protect endangered habitat such as the rain forests.
In 2008 by people clicking on the buttons, and also supported by the purchases that people made, the Greater Good Network achieved the following:
72 million cups of food were given via The Hunger Site, 14,957 acres of endangered land were saved, 522,292 books were provided for children, 989,957 children received health care, 7,577 free mammograms were given and 77.8 million bowls of food were given to rescued animals. So much of this revenue was generated solely by people clicking on a button!
So, if I may ask that you consider making a new habit for this year. Follow this link to the website, add it to your favourites and then click on the buttons as often as you can. Every little really does help. Thank you!
